In real life, an additional lodge and individual homes are also an option for visitors. And for accommodations, you can stay in the main stone lodge (which Baby gazes up at in one scene as she trails behind her family) or the front lawn cottages and historic rustic cabins (where guests and staff in the film stay). There is a springwater lake, in case you are itching to attempt the couple’s famous lift. ![]() If you knew all this, though, and are ready to plan your scene re-enactments, the Mountain Lake Lodge has plenty to offer. But once she meets Johnny Castle, the resort’s dancing instructor, and must fill in for his usual partner, Penny, in an annual dancing contest, things start to take a steamier turn. Baby may have been initially annoyed to arrive at Kellerman’s in the ’60s-set film, along with her parents and sister, Lisa. ![]()
